The 200-megapixel pixel shift mode would target landscape and studio photographers who need maximum resolution. The vari-angle screen would appeal to vloggers and video shooters who found the X-T5’s tilting screen limiting for self-recording.

The Cancellation

FujiRumors, which has a established track record on Fujifilm leaks, stated on August 7 that the early September X Summit was canceled and that no replacement date had been set. Camera Jabber, in an August 18 article, acknowledged the cancellation but noted that Fujikina Paris was still expected in early September and that B&H Photo’s scheduled hands-on event remained on the calendar. The site advised readers to treat all rumors as unconfirmed until Fujifilm made an official announcement.

The Fujikina Alternative
